Batidora Digital - Digital Mixer

Some days ago, Alvaro, an old colleague of "adventures" at the University, has resumed the web site he and some friends of him (not that much in my case) were doing for some years. The "Batidora Digital" (the Digital Mixer, http://www.batidoradigital.com/) had been left apart for some time, but he decided to resume it, he contacted the people that were helping him, and of course, I'm again in "business". And it couldn't be other way, I'm back to my favourite subject, travelling. Today I've written my first article, in this case about the last city I've visited, Venice. The article has already been published! I hope you like, and also the web site, I think there are some really very interesting articles. (I'm sorry, the web site is only in Spanish. Maybe English in the next future?)

Desde hace unos días, Alvaro, un antiguo compañero de "aventuras" en la universidad, ha vuelto a retomar la web que entre él varios amigos suyos (he de reconocer que yo en poca medida) estuvimos haciendo hace unos años. La Batidora Digital (http://www.batidoradigital.com/) llevaba tiempo abandonada, pero ha decidido retomarla, se ha puesto en contacto con la gente que le echábamos una mano, y por supuesto, vuelvo a estar en el "business". Y como no podía ser menos, vuelvo al tema que era mi favorito, los viajes. Hoy he escrito el primer artículo, en este caso de la última ciudad que he visitado, Venecia. ¡El artículo se puede ver ya publicado! Espero que os guste, y que os gusté la web, creo que hay artículos verdaderamente interesantes.

Venecia - Venice

Last weekend I visited Venice, for the first time. And I was really impresed, from the very beginning when I arrived by train, because the city is great, really great, very nice and special. It's incredible to think that people can really live in such an "irreal" place, on the water in the middle of a lake. The city is almost "floating", with plenty of streets with canals (many just only with canals and no sidewalks) and with very, very narrow streets. Certainly a lot of turists, but also keeping an atmosphere of tradition and real people living in there. I really loved it, and I'm pretty sure I'll be back there in the next future!!

El pasado fin de semana he visitado Venecia, por primera vez. Y realmente me impresionó, desde el principio cuando llegué en tren, porque la ciudad es genial, realmente genial, muy bonita y especial. Es increíble pensar que la gente pueda vivir en un sitio tan "irreal", sobre el agua en el medio de un lago. La ciudad está casi "flotando", con muchas calles con canales (muchas incluso sólo con canales y sin aceras) y con calles muy, muy estrechas. En verdad muchos turistas, pero conservando una atmósfera de tradición y gente real viviendo allí. Realmente me encantó, ¡y estoy bastante seguro de que volveré próximamente!

Examen de alemán - German exam

Some days ago I finally did the ZOP exam. Since I never found the right momento to do it, I decided just to make the inscription in August (two months in advance!), so no way back... Well, I spent some weeks studying, which is not that easy anymore, I totally lost the costum to do it! But anyways, even if I was a little bit nervious, specially in the oral exam, it was ok, I passed the exam without any problems, so now I'm supposed to speak German pretty well... do I? :) Well, anyways, it was nice to force me to learn more and not just to relax with the language. Maybe next year I will try even one more step, the KDS!

Hace algunos días hice finalmente el examen del ZOP. Como nunca encontraba el momento adecuado para hacerlo, decidí simplemente hacer la inscripción en Agosto (¡con dos meses de antelación!), sin posible marcha atrás... Bueno, pasé varias semanas estudiando, lo cual ya no es tan fácil, ¡he perdido completamente la costumbre de hacerlo! Pero en cualquier caso, incluso si estaba un poco nervioso, especialmente en el examen oral, todo fue bien, pasé el examen sin problemas, así que ahora se supone que hablo alemán bastante bien... ¿es cierto? :) Bueno, en cualquier caso, ha estado bien forzarme a aprender un poco más y no simplemente relajarme con el idioma. Tal vez el año que viene intente dar un paso más, ¡el KDS!
